A key player in the successful incorporation of the Company, Mr. Wanduragala serves as the Managing Director/Principal Officer, and responsible for corporate affairs, while liaising with the Government Regulator. As a prominent entrepreneur, his wide experience and technical knowledge, coupled with administrative skills was gained from over 30 years in the insurance industry.
He began his career at Ceylinco Limited, the principal agent for the National Insurance Corporation in 1985, subsequently joining Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd., and eventually was promoted to the capacity of Senior Manager - Retails Sales and Head of Branch Operations. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from SLIM, and possesses a MBA from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia). He has also undergone overseas training programmes, including the Comprehensive Technical Training for General Insurance conducted by the National Insurance Academy of Pune, India and Skills Technical Training programme at Ariyal Insurance Brokerage in Dubai, UAE
